Danville Gardens Joins FloraStar as New Trial Site

Danville Gardens in Danville, Illinois, with a satellite location in Champaign, Illinois, has recently joined FloraStar as a new trial site. FloraStar is fortunate to include Danville Gardens as it brings another grower-retailer into the trial process. This addition marks the 20th trial site for FloraStar in North America.

Nathan Campbell has owned the Gardens with his wife, Lisa, for over 13 years. Campbell comments that he joins FloraStar in an effort to serve the horticulture industry. He will assist with the trialing of new plant genetics by hosting and judging both spring and fall varietals.

Campbell brings great industry experience and knowledge to the trialing program, and FloraStar is excited to welcome Danville Gardens as it begins a new year of testing and promotion activities.

FloraStar administers two plant trialing programs, one for new plants, the FloraStar New Variety Trial, and another designed to develop production information for growers, the Elite Performer Trial. Growers selecting a variety that has won a FloraStar award can be sure they'll get a great crop.
